HOLISTIC VIBEZ :: MY FAVORITE COLORS FOR 2019

Little Update on Life and My Current Color Combo All In One!

My sincerest apologies! I’ve been away for a whole year! This is probably the longest I’ve been absent! A lot has happened in the meantime and I will unravel it ( good + bad ) bit by bit. I promise!

Life

Between working on various design projects (check my freshly facelifted portfolio), traveling to Rotterdam (The Netherlands) several times to finish recording my EP, performing at one of the biggest venues in Lisbon (Portugal) and running my household, I was able to accomplish A WHOLE LOT! I was able to do larger-scale projects, had one of my projects published (billboard sized) on its buildings facade(THE PIERCE, Fenway!! proud moment!) and upgraded my branding. I also mustered up some courage to do some extensive networking (felt like speed dating!). Produced my first music video clip and photoshoot ever (YAY!!). Ok, I’ll stop! 2018 has been very good to me and my family! THANK YOU UNIVERSE!

Anyone, that knows me, knows that it’s been a rough journey since I moved 8 years ago and finally it feels like I have sort of arrived and have figured out how to make all of my ventures coexist. So for 2019, I will try to publish more posts and more videos giving you the inside scoop into some of my design projects and processes.

Muted + Muddy Colors

“These are some very muted and rich tones populated from the warmer range of the spectrum and exude more of a moody and mysterious vibe, which I’m totally here for!”

While sourcing on pinterest for various projects I kept stumbling over a certain trend that I was totally drawn to. Some bloggers referred to it as holistic colors and I can see why. These are some very muted and rich tones populated from the warmer range of the spectrum and exude more of a moody and mysterious vibe, which I’m totally here for! Further, I noticed a lot of these colors are paired with rather matted materials in a color palette that is closer in range and definitely on the softer side. If that makes any sense!

What do you think of this trend and would you use it in your space? Feel free to comment your opinion below! I’d love hear your thoughts on this!

Cheers!

Márcia
